Associate Department Head for Extension, Dr. Doug Welsh, has shared with us that Galveston, Texas Mayor Joe Jaworski proclaimed Thursday, August 25, 2011 as "William M Johnson Day", in honor of our CEA-Hort for Galveston County, and in recognition of his years of service to the community.
