Upcoming Landscape Design School
Course II, Series XXIII for the well known School will be held February 18-19, 2013, at Christ United Methodist Church, College Station, TX.
This course is presented by National Garden Clubs, Inc. and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. The 10-hour course, which covers many aspects of the history of gardening and cultural/architectural influences on modern gardens, will also include a lecture by Peter Hatch, recently retired Director of Grounds for Monticello. He has spent many years researching Thomas Jefferson's gardening journals of ornamental, vegetable and useful plants which in some instances he had brought into the United States, trialled and then disseminated to American gardeners
There are four portions to each series, given twice a year. Courses may be taken in any order.
