Arizona carlowrightia is an uncommon plant in the Trans-Pecos, growing in rocky mesas and stony hillsides, mostly in Brewster Co. It is also found west to Arizona and into New Mexico. It is a spreading shrub to 3 feet high with small, light green leaves and white flowers with lavender streaks that appear April through August.
