Turner Mimosa

Turner mimosa is localized and fairly infrequent on limestone soils from 2200 feet to 4000 feet in the south desert areas of south Brewster and south Hudspeth Counties in the Trans-Pecos and into Mexico. It is a straggly shrub with rounded, fuzzy, pink clustered flowers and many recurved prickles, appearing leafless from a distance.
