Region A, comprising of the counties in the Panhandle and High Plains, bounded roughly by the border with New Mexico to the West, the Oklahoma border in the North and North East, the Hill Country, Central and North Texas (regions B and F) in the East, and the Pecos River in the South. Region B, comprising of the counties of North and Central Texas, bounded roughly by the Panhandle and West Texas (region A) in the West, the Red River in the North, East Texas (region C) in the East, and the Brazos Valley (situated in regions B, F, and G) in the South. Region C, comprising of the counties of Northeast and East Texas, bounded roughly by Central Texas (region B) in the West, the Red River in the North, the Sabine River in the East, and South East Texas (region G) in the South.
