Although I was originally a native of California, Texas has been my home for many years after I joined my aunt, Maery Alice Wickizer Honeycutt and uncle, Broaddus (Skeet) Honeycutt in Houston. Family members include my daughter Rosemary Mueller Lindley, son Karl Albert Mueller, grandson Eric Anderson Lindley, cousins Margie Woods of Bullard, TX and Wallace Honeycutt of Gold Beach, Ore. After graduation from The University of Texas at Austin, I had gardens and experimented with plants in various locations such as Houston, Austin, San Antonio, La Grange, Galveston and finally College Station.
